On February 22, 2 Go for Happiness professorships at the University of Leuven are installed.
It concerns the Go for Happiness chair for the prevention of depression and suicide and the Go for Happiness chair for giftedness and wellbeing in young people.
The Unit for Suicide Research completed the Go for Happiness Project “survivors and mourning” with a research report.

“Emotions in preschool children”, is an article in Psychologies Magazine Belgium.
The article describes how ” Majic Forest” playfully teaches them how to show their feelings without temper.
12 marathons in 12 months in 2012: that is the project of Geert Meesschaert.
After a career as a referee in the first national of the Belgian FA and after a marathon in Oostende with Geert matured the idea for this ambitious project.
The Go for Happiness Project ” mindfulness for adolescents ” has encouraging interim results suggesting that mindfulness is a potentially useful method to enhance emotion regulation in young people.
These interim results are explained on a conference ‘Mindfulness for children and young people’ on 4 March. by prof. Filip Raes.
Furthermore, a closer look at the qualitative feedback from young people for the training, the importance and potential of mindfulness interventions in the education system.
